Dear SIGGRAPH Asia 2018 Attendees,
We hope you have had an enriching experience at SIGGRAPH Asia 2018. Day One did not start off smoothly as planned as there was a technical glitch and a slowdown in our Registration system. As a result, many of you were forced to wait in the queue for a long period of time. We would like to apologize deeply for the inconvenience that this may have caused you. The SIGGRAPH Asia community and attendees are extremely valued and we understand how important it is to offer exceptional service at the event. Unfortunately, we failed to provide the expected level of service and we regret this tremendously.
Please be assured that this type of situation will never happen again. We have done a thorough investigation, identified the fault and have put new procedures in place as of today. This will ensure that the registration process will not have any bottlenecks in future. We thank you for your kind understanding and will ensure that SIGGRAPH Asia continues to improve and grow after each year.
