ACM SIGGRAPH’s Diversity and Inclusion Birds of Feather
Summary: ACM SIGGRAPH has embarked on a new initiative for its membership to be a more welcoming and inclusive organization. Diversity and inclusion are topics of discussion around the world. But what do they actually mean? Why does diversity and inclusion matter when it comes to the world of computer graphics and interactive techniques? We would like to get your perspective on what D&I means to you and how we can create a welcoming and nurturing community for everyone working in computer graphics and interactive techniques. We also want to brainstorm and solicit input on different techniques for helping attendees better understand how a focus on diversity and inclusion can be beneficial to the broader SIGGRAPH community and in their workplaces.
